What a pleasure it has been to work with Carol Wojciechowski who helped us sell our family home in Portland Oregon this past summer! Carol's knowledge and professional expertise made the process of getting the house ready for the market and the sale of the house go smoothly.
During this process there are several valuable recommendations made by Carol that I would like to highlight.
In March of 2010, we met to discuss how best to get the house prepared for the market. She suggested getting a professional inspection, so to know what repairs would need immediate attention. That was helpful, as it was suggested that we get a new roof, gutters & side walkway repaired, all of which were completed.
In January of 2011, the decision was made by my mother and siblings that the house should go on the market. Again Carol's advice was helpful in suggesting that we make interior upgrades to the 50 year old house. This included remolding the kitchen, sanding and refinishing the hardwood floors and painting the entire interior of the house. Since my mother had moved out of the home and no family members lived in the Portland area, it was a difficult project to do long distance, but with Carol's assistance we were able to complete the upgrades. She couldn't have been more helpful and most certainly went the extra mile to assist when she could. Our family had the utmost of respect for her opinions and proficiency to get the job done.
The house was listed in April 2011. Our goal was to sell it by the end of August. We were successful and the house closed on August 19, 2011.
It is our opinion that Carol, with her dedication to detail, her expertise in the Portland real estate market and her kindness and ability to work with all people, was the reason that our home sold in the timeframe we had hoped.

Carol represented my family in the sale of our family's home of 50 years in Southwest Portland. At all times during the marketing and ultimate sale of the home, Carol acted with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
